Good news! The rain has stopped, and the ground staff are heading out to the field. There’s a significant amount of water on the covers that needs to be dealt with before they can be removed. Despite the heavy downpour, the venue’s drainage system is excellent, so it shouldn’t take too long for the field to be ready for play. A few minutes later, the sun is shining, and the ground staff are gradually taking the covers off.
