In many parts of India, progress is measured by new buildings, but in the village of Alika, progress is measured by the sight of a dry field. After six long years of standing water and broken promises, Alika has finally witnessed a miracle, orchestrated not by the administration, but by the selfless grace of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
The Six-Year Struggle
Alika had become a village of ‘dead hopes’. For over half a decade, approximately 1,000 acres of land remained submerged under 4 to 6 feet of water.
The “Sea” of Alika: The fields had turned into permanent ponds where fish swam over what used to be fertile soil.
Administrative Failure: The government provided only one small motor, which couldn’t even lower the water level by an inch. Farmers were on the brink of suicide due to rising debts.
The Arrival of the “Aladdin’s Lamp”
When a local follower, Rohtash, suggested seeking help from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, the villagers were skeptical. But desperation led to a petition, and the response was beyond their wildest imagination.

A massive relief fleet arrived, which the villagers described as a “factory on wheels”:
- 10,000 feet of 8-inch pipes.
- 7 High-capacity Motors (ranging from 5 to 10 HP).
- Complete Kit: From nuts and bolts to starters, everything was provided free of cost.
The Miracle: When the Water “Ran Away”
The transformation was so rapid it felt supernatural. Within two months of installing the Sant’s motors, the “stubborn” water that hadn’t moved in years was gone.
- The First Harvest in Years: Today, the village is celebrating its first successful wheat sowing in years. The wheat is already a foot high.
- Permanent Solution: To ensure this never happens again, the villagers have buried the provided pipes underground, creating a permanent drainage system.
Voices of Gratitude
“We thought we would have to die by suicide to escape our debts,” says Than Singh, a Panchayat member. “The government’s motor ran for a month and didn’t lower the water by an inch. But when Maharaj Ji’s motors started, the water vanished as if by magic.”
Another farmer, Sunder, adds, “Today we are not crying for drainage; we are happily irrigating our crops. This is a new Satyug for us.”
A Celebration of Faith and Action in Alika
The day the water was finally cleared, the village didn’t just quietly resume work; they celebrated with a DJ, fireworks, and a victory procession. For the people of Alika, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj isn’t just a spiritual leader, He is the savior who put food back on their tables and saved their children’s future.
