BharatGen AI to Address the Gap in Digital Accessibility
On June 10, 2025, the Government of India introduced BharatGen AI— a revolutionary, multilingual, and multimodal AI model trained entirely on Indian languages, data, and cultural contexts. As a part of the ₹10,372 crore IndiaAI Mission, BharatGen has been created to address the gap in digital accessibility by providing AI services in local Indian languages.
BharatGen AI understands 22 Indian languages
Led by IIT Bombay with collaboration from IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIIT Hyderabad, and others, the model has been trained using AIRAWAT — India’s largest AI supercomputing cluster. BharatGen AI is capable of understanding and generating content in 22 Indian languages and processes inputs in text, speech, and images.

True Knowledge Should be Universally Accessible
According to the spiritual teachings of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj, true knowledge (SatGyan) should be universally accessible, regardless of language, caste, or region. BharatGen resonates with this principle by aiming to bridge the digital divide and make AI accessible to all, echoing the vision of equality and inclusivity promoted in the path of SatGyan. Just as true spiritual knowledge is meant for all souls without discrimination, BharatGen ensures that technological knowledge and benefits reach every Indian in their own tongue.Just as
SatGyan given by Saint Rampalji Maharaj, breaks the illusion of ignorance and reveals the eternal truth beyond superficial divisions, BharatGen holds the potential to remove digital ignorance by making knowledge accessible to all in their native languages.
While spiritual wisdom enlightens the soul, this AI revolution empowers the intellect, both working toward a more aware, inclusive, and awakened society. Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj emphasizes that true equality begins when every individual, regardless of background or language, has equal access to divine as well as worldly knowledge. BharatGen, in this light, becomes a tool not just for digital upliftment, but also for paving the way toward a society where discrimination – whether technological or spiritual – is eliminated.
