Hisar, Haryana – For the residents of Ghirai Village, the annual monsoon rains brought not life, but a recurring nightmare. For a quarter of a century, relentless flooding has submerged their lands, shattered their livelihoods, and washed away their hopes. This year, the devastation was so severe that many families were on the brink of selling their ancestral lands. After 25 years of unanswered pleas to various authorities, a new ray of hope emerged from an unexpected source.
A Village on the Edge
Located in the Hisar district of Haryana, Girai has endured a chronic flooding problem for 25 years. Every rainy season, 20 to 25 families would helplessly watch as their fields, their only source of income, disappeared under water. The accumulated damage and despair had pushed them to a breaking point. With no help in sight, they saw no future but to abandon their lands.
It was during this time of profound hopelessness that they learned of the extensive flood relief work being carried out by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. The news, spreading through social media, showcased a massive humanitarian campaign reaching villages across the region, sparking a final, desperate hope among the people of Girai.
A United Plea for Deliverance
Inspired by what they had seen, the villagers decided to seek help. Under the leadership of the Sarpanch representative, Mr. Sandeep Ji, a delegation of over 100 villagers traveled to the Barwala to appeal directly to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. They carried with them a formal, signed petition detailing their 25-year-long ordeal.

Their request was specific and aimed at a permanent solution: five large, high-powered motors and 25,000 feet of pipe to drain the floodwaters that had crippled their village for decades.
An Unprecedented and Swift Response
No one in the delegation could have anticipated the speed with which their plea would be answered. Accustomed to decades of indifference, they were astonished when Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj immediately understood their suffering and accepted their request without delay.

Within a few days, a massive convoy of aid, larger than anything the village had ever witnessed, arrived in Girai. This was not a token gesture; it was a comprehensive, turnkey solution designed to end their problem once and for all. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj dispatched:
- Five high-capacity 15-horsepower motors to pump out the stagnant water efficiently.
- 25,000 feet of high-quality, 8-inch pipe to create a robust drainage system.
- All necessary accessories, including starters, cables, joints, clamps, and valves, ensuring the villagers would face no obstacles in making the system operational immediately.
This meticulous planning ensured that the community had everything it needed to begin the drainage work without any further expense or delay. The sight of seven to eight trucks, loaded with 30-foot-long pipes and heavy machinery, transformed the atmosphere of the village from despair to disbelief and joy.
An Early Diwali At Girai
The arrival of the aid was a moment of profound emotional release for the villagers. Their joy and gratitude were palpable.

One farmer expressed, “This is not something a human does; this is the work of God. We were losing everything. Our paddy crops were completely ruined, rotting in the water for months. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj saved us. We will now be able to sow our next crop.”
Another villager, overwhelmed with emotion, said, “What can we say? Our souls have been satisfied, like a person starving for a month who is finally given water. The joy we feel inside is immense. We never saw God, but today, we see God in Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.”

The Sarpanch representative, Sandeep Ji, formally thanked Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj on behalf of the entire village. “We are eternally grateful. What He has done for us will be remembered forever. We stand with Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, with our heart, body, and soul.”
A Gift for the Future
Along with the materials, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj sent a letter urging the villagers to work together to drain the water swiftly so that the next crop cycle would not be missed. He emphasized that this aid was not a temporary loan but a permanent gift. He advised them to bury the pipes underground, creating a lasting infrastructure that would protect them from future floods. “Your problem of flooding has been solved forever,” the message declared, providing not just relief for the present but security for the future.
The villagers have pledged to follow these instructions, promising to drain the water and restore their fields.
When Aadi Ram Arrives
The aid extended to Ghirai Village is not an isolated incident. It is part of the “Annapurna Muhim,” a substantial and continuous flood relief initiative organized by Sant Rampalji Maharaj. This Muhim, which began as an effort to provide food and shelter, has now evolved into a comprehensive humanitarian aid operation, which has reached over 200 villages .
To ensure this humanitarian mission could proceed without financial constraint, He issued a strict order to halt all construction work at His 12 ashrams and over 500 naamdaan centers, diverting all funds and manpower to save the flood-affected villages. The complete coverage of all the efforts are being documented and published on all of the social media platforms by SA NEWS CHANNEL.
