FMGE Result 2025 for June: On Wednesday, 13th August, 2025, the results for FMGE June 2025 examinations were released on the official website of National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). What is FMGE?
FMGE is not a new term, it stands for Foreign Medical Graduates Examination. It is a compulsory test for Indian doctors who have completed their primary education from foreign educational institutions.
It is a mandatory licensing examination to mandate students the right to practice medicine in India. It makes sure that the foreign doctors have enough skills and knowledge to conduct medical operations safely to the Indian population. It typically happens twice a year, mostly in June and December, conducted by NBEMS.
How to check FMGE Result 2025 for June
- Visit the official website https://natboard.edu.in/.
- On the homepage, under public notice, find ‘Result of Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) – June 2025 Declared’ and click on it to proceed.
- A PDF will open afterwards. In the PDF, find the text with hyperlink ‘Click here to view the result of FMGE June 2025’ and click on it.
- Another PDF will open up after clicking on the link. It contains the status of the result of the candidates in a tabular format.
- Use Ctrl+F or find your roll number in the PDF using the Find command in the browser. This is a digitally signed PDF of 745 pages.
- The PDF contains roll number, application number, total marks (out of 300) and result.

Other Details in Notice
- All the questions were re-analysed by faculty members for technical correctness. No question was technically incorrect.
- Individual scorecards shall be available on/after 21 August, 2025.
- Scorecards can be downloaded from the website for the period of 6 months after release.
- In-person verification of candidates through their identity and credentials shall be done for the passed candidates.
- FMGE Pass Certificates shall be issued to candidates after their successful verification.
- The FMGE scorecard is not valid for registration at any State Medical Council.
- If the candidate is found ineligible at any stage, the candidate’s details shall be cancelled at any stage even if the Pass Certificate has been released.

- According to sources, the overall pass result is 18.61%
- 81.37% failed the examination. A total of 36,039 candidates appeared for the examination.
- A candidate required 50% marks for passing.
- The result of 5 candidates has been ‘withheld’.
